Want to know more about the VCT? The Virginia Capital Trail Foundation is excited to present "Cap Trail 101: A Guide to the Trail! This informative, one-hour presentation is your formal introduction to the Trail, perfect if you've been wanting to visit but haven't taken the first step OR if you're a Trail regular who just wants to learn more. We'll cover everything from the Trail's early history to the current day, including a look ahead at the exciting Williamsburg extension. Plus, learn about upcoming programs, how to get involved, and so much more!

Pace for Rides:
A (20+ mph)
A- (18-20 mph)
B+ (16-18)
B (14-16)
C (12-14)
D (10-12)
Casual Up to 10 mph, with no one left behind

Please note that these are average speeds for the duration of the ride. If you are new to club rides and aren't sure what pace you can maintain, be conservative with your first ride! Direct all questions, cancellations or updates to our ride coordinator at ridecoordinator@wabonline.org

Helmets are required on all WAB rides.

Registration is required for all WAB rides. Pre-registration online accomplishes the following: 1) the ride leader and other participants know who is coming; 2) you are eligible for club insurance in the event of an accident ; 3) you accept the risks involved in riding; 4) you provide necessary legal protection for club leadership and ride leaders, and 5) we have an easy means to communicate in event of a change or cancellation. Please familiarize yourself with the waiver on the registration page.
