Ride Description

Weekly Friday Friends Ride.  The rides are usually on the Virginia Capital Trail (VCT) but can include Jamestown Island, First Colony, Governor’s Land, etc.  The rides are usually 25 to 30 miles in length.  The ride leader will ride at a 'C' pace.  Participants are welcome to ride whatever distance and pace they like.

Pre-registration is required.

Enjoy lunch or a snack at Spoke 'n Art after the ride.

Any cancelation will be posted by 7:30 a.m.

A (20+ mph)
A- (18-20 mph)
B+ (16-18)
B (14-16)
C (12-14)

Casual Up to 10 mph, with no one left behind

Helmets are required on all WAB rides.
 
Registration is required for all WAB rides.  Pre-registration online accomplishes the following: 1) the ride leader and other participants know who is coming; 2) you are eligible for club insurance in the event of an accident (non-members 1st ride only); 3) you accept the risks involved in riding; 4) you provide necessary legal protection for club leadership and ride leaders,  and 5) we have an easy means to communicate in event of a change or cancellation.   Please familiarize yourself with the waiver on the registration page.
