Description
Rick Nevins and Deb Young will co-lead this 28 mile ride which is based upon one of Road Tested Bike Tours Ride With GPS Ambassador rides. We will meet at the Herring Creek Parking Lot near Mile 27 on the VCT. The ride will pass Malvern Hill battlefield, Harrison Lake Fish Hatchery, Upper Shirley Vineyards and Shirley Plantation. Half of this ride is on the Virginia Capital Trail and half is on rural country roads. Rest Stop at Four Mile Creek Park at approximately the midpoint. This will be a no-drop C ride, intended to be a fun ride exploring some areas we don't normally ride on. Optional lunch at Cul's Courthouse Grille after the ride.
