TIME CHANGE - Neighborhoods Ride "D"

TIME CHANGED TO 9:00 TO BEAT THE HEAT!

Reed & Karen Nester are continuing a series of easy and casual D-pace rides (10-12 mph) through local neighborhoods. These rides will be around 10 miles mostly on low-traffic neighborhood roads. No one will be left behind.

We will meet at 9:00 am on Monday, July 25 at the Quarterpath Rec Center (park by the first ball field) - look for Reed & Karen on their green tandem. Bathrooms are available at the Rec Center. 

Pre-registration is requested for everybody. To pre-register, click on the blue “Book this Event” button.

This 11 mile ride will take the York Street bike path to Colonial Williamsburg, ride through the Historic Area, ride through the W&M Campus, explore the neighborhoods of Burns Lane, Chandler Court and Pollard Park along Jamestown Road, then Richmond Hill and The Coves on South Henry Street, finishing with a loop through Cedar Grove Cemetery and then back to the start. Helmets are required, fancy bicycle clothing is not.

Any weather cancellation will be posted on the Message Board no later than 7:30 am Monday.
