Neighborhoods Ride "D"

NOTE: Start time delayed to 10:00 due to rain passing through.

Reed & Karen Nester are continuing a series of easy and casual D-pace rides (10-12 mph) through local neighborhoods. These rides will be around 10 miles mostly on low-traffic neighborhood roads. No one will be left behind.

We will meet at 10:00 am on Monday, August 22 at the parking lot next to Food Lion at Midtown Row (1324 Richmond Road) – park in the lot beside Food Lion, and look for Reed & Karen on their green tandem.

This 10 mile ride will utilize the bike paths along Monticello Avenue, Ironbound Road, DePue Drive and Longhill Road, and explore the neighborhoods of Skipwith Farms, Piney Creek, Savannah Green and Longhill Woods. Helmets are required, fancy bicycle clothing is not.

Any weather cancellation will be posted on the Message Board no later than 7:30 am Monday.
