Return of Neighborhoods Rides

Reed & Karen Nester are continuing their easy and casual D-pace rides (10-12 mph) through local neighborhoods. These rides will be around 10 miles mostly on low-traffic neighborhood roads, and also on the Virginia Capital Trail and the Colonial Parkway. No one will be left behind.

We will meet at 10:00 am on Monday, April 4 at the Jamestown Settlement parking lot in the corner near the Virginia Capital Trail.  Look for Reed & Karen on their green tandem.

Pre-registration is requested for everybody. To pre-register, click on the blue “Book this Event” button.

Our first 10.5 mile ride will tour the following neighborhoods: Landfall at Jamestown, The Point at Jamestown, St. George’s Hundred, Jamestown Hundred, and Heritage Landing. To connect the neighborhoods, we will ride the service road paralleling Jamestown Road, 4-H Club Road, Powhatan Creek Trail and Virginia Capital Trail.

Helmets are required, fancy bicycle clothing is not.

Since this is a no-drop ride, there is no map or cue sheet.  The Nester's will lead the way.

Any weather cancellation will be posted on the Message Board no later than 7:30 am Monday.
