Description
Contes and Bikes Unlimited are combining their Williamsburg shop rides this Saturday morning April 8th to honor Rick Estes, local cycling enthusiast who died of a heart attack this week while cycling, with a ride to the site of his heart attack and then passing by his home. The Saturday morning ride is generally a 40-mile B+/A ride. This week is announced as a “no-drop” ride with re-groupings as necessary. After the first 10 miles of riding together, Dave Clarke and Robin Land will split off a group who will take a shorter route (~21 miles) with a slower pace (gentle B) back to the start point. The ride starts at 7:30am at Conte’s Bike Shop in New Town. Coffee and chat at Panera's afterward.
