Their route Friday 9/13 will be from the South Side to Richmond, coming through our area, riding the VCT all the way. Their schedule is as follows:
7:00 - The group will leave the Chesapeake / Suffolk areas, bike to Surry, and take the ferry from Scotland to Jamestown.
Until approximately 12:45 pm, they will be served lunch by the Jamestown VFW. The lunch stop is on the right-hand side of the road, a couple hundred yards north of where you exit the Jamestown Ferry and before you get on the VCT. Then they will head out for Richmond.
If you would like to have your flags ready and cheer them as they go by, or even join in support, best guess is watch for them on our end of the trail between 12:30 and 1:00. A great opportunity would be at Spoke & Art after the morning WAB ride. Be alert, time is uncertain.
