Waverly Watermelon Ride

Ride Description

Come on down to Waverly for a traditional summer ride! There will be a special rest stop at the home of Surry County's Watermelon Lady, featuring local watermelon and other refreshments. The terrain is mostly flat and the traffic volume is very low.  This is a joint ride for WAB and RABA. Sara Page will lead the B riders, Andy Ballentine the C riders.  After the ride join members of the group for lunch at Pino's on Main Street in Waverly.

A (20+ mph)
A- (18-20 mph)

Helmets are required on all WAB rides.
 
Registration is required for all WAB rides.  Pre-registration online accomplishes the following: 1) the ride leader and other participants know who is coming; 2) you are eligible for club insurance in the event of an accident (non-members 1st ride only); 3) you accept the risks involved in riding; 4) you provide necessary legal protection for club leadership and ride leaders,  and 5) we have an easy means to communicate in event of a change or cancellation.   Please familiarize yourself with the waiver on the registration page.
