2019 PBA Surry Century

Description

PBA signature fund-raising event. 3 loops of 23, 27, 50 miles. Starts from the Surry Athletic Field behind the Surry Courthouse. Tour beautiful Surry County, where some of the earliest English settlers lived. Ride along the James River, through a Roundabout, past historic sights such as Bacon's Castle and Chippokes Plantation State Park. Multiple rest stops along the way with delicious home-baked goodies, post-ride lunch and party. Registration fee: $65. Always lots of WAB participation.

Helmets are required on all WAB rides.

Registration is required for all WAB rides. Pre-registration online accomplishes the following: 1) the ride leader and other participants know who is coming; 2) you are eligible for club insurance in the event of an accident (non-members 1st ride only); 3) you accept the risks involved in riding; 4) you provide necessary legal protection for club leadership and ride leaders, and 5) we have an easy means to communicate in event of a change or cancellation.
