Ride Description

Come out and enjoy cycling on the quiet country roads of Charles City County followed by a great lunch at Cul's Courthouse Grille!  A portion of the lunch sales will contribute towards the Cycling Without Age - Williamsburg program - a joint project of the Williamsburg Area Bicyclists and BikeWalk Williamsburg.  Help support a great community project while at the same time having fun!  See below for more detail on the ride paces and routes.  For anyone desiring a shorter or slower ride, feel free to come on out and do a self-led ride on the adjacent Virginia Capital Trail.

A (20+ mph)
A- (18-20 mph)

Casual Up to 10 mph, with no one left behind

Please note that these are average speeds for the duration of the ride. If you are new to club rides and aren't sure what pace you can maintain, be conservative with your first ride! Direct all questions, cancellations or updates to our ride coordinator at ridecoordinator@wabonline.org
 
Helmets are required on all WAB rides.
 
Registration is required for all WAB rides.  Pre-registration online accomplishes the following: 1) the ride leader and other participants know who is coming; 2) you are eligible for club insurance in the event of an accident (non-members 1st ride only); 3) you accept the risks involved in riding; 4) you provide necessary legal protection for club leadership and ride leaders,  and 5) we have an easy means to communicate in event of a change or cancellation.   Please familiarize yourself with the waiver on the registration page.
