Friday Friends Early Bird Ride

Any who care to get an early start Friday can check in with Jane and ride at 9:00 am.

Distance: your choice

Individuals are free to ride any pace, distance, or route they choose.  The group generally rides on the Virginia Capital Trail between the Chapel and Charles City Courthouse.

The Chapel Cafe remains closed.  However, we have been invited to use the cafe for lunch, as long as we bring our own food and clean up after ourselves.  Coffee and soft drinks, and possibly pastries, are available courtesy of the Williamsburg Chapel.

If the ride is cancelled, a message will be posted on the WAB Message Board no later than 8:00 am Friday.

Helmets are required on all WAB rides.
 
Registration is required for all WAB rides.  Pre-registration online accomplishes the following: 1) the ride leader and other participants know who is coming; 2) you are eligible for club insurance in the event of an accident (non-members 1st ride only); 3) you accept the risks involved in riding; 4) you provide necessary legal protection for club leadership and ride leaders,  and 5) we have an easy means to communicate in event of a change or cancellation.   Please familiarize yourself with the waiver on the registration page.
