Neighborhoods Ride "D"

Reed & Karen Nester are continuing a series of easy and casual D-pace rides (10-12 mph) through local neighborhoods. These rides will be around 10 miles mostly on low-traffic neighborhood roads. No one will be left behind.

We will meet at 10:00 am on Monday, October 10 at the Food Lion parking lot at Midtown Row (1234 Richmond Road) – park in the lot beside Food Lion, not the one in front of the store, and look for Reed & Karen on their tandem.

This 11-mile ride will utilize the bike paths along Monticello Avenue, Ironbound Road, DePue Drive and Longhill Road, and explore the neighborhoods of Charlotte Park in New Town and Carriage Road off of Ironbound Road. Helmets are required, fancy bicycle clothing is not.

Any weather cancellation will be posted on the Message Board no later than 7:30 am Monday.
