CANCELLED DUE TO WET CONDITIONS
Reed & Karen Nester are continuing a series of easy and casual D-pace rides (10-12 mph) through local neighborhoods. These rides will be around 10 miles mostly on low-traffic neighborhood roads. No one will be left behind.
We will meet at 10:00 am on Monday, October 17 at the College Creek Beach parking lot on the Colonial Parkway - look for Reed & Karen on their tandem.
Pre-registration is requested for everybody. To pre-register, click on the blue “Book this Event” button.
This 12-mile ride will travel on the Colonial Parkway to the Treasure Island Road connector, then up Treasure Island Road to explore the Vineyards at Jockey’s Neck. On the way back we will ride out Lake Powell Road to its dead end at Lake Powell. If you have any questions, call or email Reed at (757) 846-0121 or reednester@gmail.com.
Helmets are required, fancy bicycle clothing is not.
Any weather cancellation will be posted on the Message Board no later than 7:30 am Monday.
