Neighborhoods Ride goes to Richmond

Reed & Karen Nester are continuing a series of easy and casual D-pace rides (10-12 mph) through local neighborhoods. These rides will be around 10 miles mostly on low-traffic neighborhood roads. No one will be left behind.

For a change of pace, we are doing a special Neighborhoods ride starting at Osborne Park in Henrico County, an hour drive from Williamsburg. This scenic route will ride through the Fort Harrison unit of the Richmond National Battlefield Park, with stops at Fort Brady and Fort Harrison. These forts were part of the Confederate defenses of Richmond during the Civil War. 

Pre-registration is requested. To pre-register, click on the blue “Book this Event” button.

The ride will start at Osborne Park and Boat Landing at 9530 Osborne Turnpike, Richmond, VA 23231 at Shelter #2, the first shelter on the right as you turn into the park. Bathrooms are available at the shelter.
