Ride Description

CANCELLED DUE TO RAIN

Weekly Saturday morning ride

Leaders: Linda & Bob Carter (757-868-6198)

Launch: Parking lot to the left of the Poquoson Wendy's

Time: 9:00 AM (please arrive no later than 8:45 AM)

Route: Poquoson Wendy's to Messick Point to Heidi's Point and back.

Distance: 30 miles

Pace: Rolling 12-14 mph with (4) sprint opportunities

Rest stops: Messick Point (with bathrooms) and Heidi's Point (end of Pasture Road)

Bring helmet, lights, water bottles, and snacks.

Enjoy a post ride social at Wendy's (chili, frosties, etc.)

This is a joint PBA / WAB ride.  All are welcome.

Any cancellation will be posted by 7:30 Saturday.

Helmets are required on all WAB rides.
 
Registration is required for all WAB rides.  Pre-registration online accomplishes the following: 1) the ride leader and other participants know who is coming; 2) you are eligible for club insurance in the event of an accident (non-members 1st ride only); 3) you accept the risks involved in riding; 4) you provide necessary legal protection for club leadership and ride leaders,  and 5) we have an easy means to communicate in event of a change or cancellation.   Please familiarize yourself with the waiver on the registration page.
