When: Tuesday mornings at 9:30 (suggest taking the 8:30 ferry)
Where: Parking lot across from the Surry County government offices - 45 School Street, Surry, VA 23883 Park in the unpaved lot on the east side of School Street.Paces: B led by Bill Bandy, C led by Jack Huber and Fran Wenbert. Other pace levels welcome but may be self led. Printed cue sheets will be available, contact Jack for a copy of the GPX file. Routes will change each week on a rotating basis.Riding distance: 28 to 31 miles depending on the routeTerrain: Rural Surry, Southampton and Isle of Wight Counties. Roads are generally flat with an occasional hill. Very light car traffic. There will be a stop with rest rooms at a country store or at Chippokes State Park.This is a joint ride of WAB / RABA. After the ride, most members of the group will have lunch together at Surry Seafood on Gray's Creek, which is about 2.5 miles north of Surry on Rt. 31 towards the Jamestown ferry.
