Description

Fully-supported, flat ride, scenic ride in Mathews, VA. There is a large WAB contingent this year. Jim Gullo and Ken McFarland are coordinating C and B pace groups respectively. Contact them if you are registered and interested in riding with the WAB group and you aren't yet on the list.

Pace for Rides:
A (20+ mph)
A- (18-20 mph)
B+ (16-18)
B (14-16)
C (12-14)
D (10-12)
Casual Up to 10 mph, with no one left behind

Please note that these are average speeds for the duration of the ride. If you are new to club rides and aren't sure what pace you can maintain, be conservative with your first ride! Direct all questions, cancellations or updates to our ride coordinator at ridecoordinator@wabonline.org

Helmets are required on all WAB rides.

Registration is required for all WAB rides. Pre-registration online accomplishes the following: 1) the ride leader and other participants know who is coming; 2) you are eligible for club insurance in the event of an accident (non-members 1st ride only); 3) you accept the risks involved in riding; 4) you provide necessary legal protection for club leadership and ride leaders, and 5) we have an easy means to communicate in event of a change or cancellation.
