Ride Description

Monday, November 12, join Linda and Bob Carter for a Veterans Day Holiday ride.  Wear your Red, White and Blue if you can.

Meet in the parking lot of the old Farm Fresh next to Wendy’s in Poquoson (460 Wythe Creek Road) at 9AM. Please arrive by 8:45am. This is a 30 mile ride rolling at 12-14 mph. Shorter option available and no one is dropped. There are 4 sprint opportunities. Bring helmet, lights, 2 water bottles, suntan lotion, and snacks. We have two stops - one at Messick Point with bathrooms and one at Heidi's Point at the end of Pasture Road. Frosties, chili, salads, etc. afterwards are always an option.

Any cancellation due to weather will be posted by 7:30am.

Helmets are required on all WAB rides.
 
Registration is required for all WAB rides.  Pre-registration online accomplishes the following: 1) the ride leader and other participants know who is coming; 2) you are eligible for club insurance in the event of an accident (non-members 1st ride only); 3) you accept the risks involved in riding; 4) you provide necessary legal protection for club leadership and ride leaders,  and 5) we have an easy means to communicate in event of a change or cancellation.   Please familiarize yourself with the waiver on the registration page.
