Ride Description

Annual Veteran’s Day Poquoson Ride

Join Linda & Bob Carter for a 20-25 mile ride rolling at 12-14 mph, with the Veteran’s Day Ceremony at 11:00 am at City Hall (approx. 40-45 minutes).  No one is dropped. There are several sprint opportunities. Bring helmet, lights, 2 water bottles, and snacks.

Meet in the parking lot next to Wendy's in Poquoson (460 Wythe Creek Rd) no later than 8:45am.

This is a joint PBA / WAB ride.

Wear your red, white & blue jersey if you have one.

Helmets are required on all WAB rides.
 
Registration is required for all WAB rides.  Pre-registration online accomplishes the following: 1) the ride leader and other participants know who is coming; 2) you are eligible for club insurance in the event of an accident (non-members 1st ride only); 3) you accept the risks involved in riding; 4) you provide necessary legal protection for club leadership and ride leaders,  and 5) we have an easy means to communicate in event of a change or cancellation.   Please familiarize yourself with the waiver on the registration page.
