Ride Description

C RIDE CANCELLED DUE TO FORECAST SUSTAINED 15 MPH WINDS ALL DAY, GUSTING TO 30 MPH

Blessing of the Bikes Sunday, October 21 @ 2:00 pm at Westover Church, 5 miles west of Charles City Courthouse at VCT mile marker 25.

Deana Sun has proposed 3 options:

Option A: Meet fellow riders at Cul's Courthouse Grille for brunch / lunch @ 11:15 am. Meet at CCCH parking lot, sign in, and begin riding at approximately 12:30 pm. Ride will be around 20 miles depending on pace of group and actual start time. Arrive at Westover Church @ approx. 1:45 for 2:00 pm Blessing of the Bikes. Return to CCCH after blessing.

Option B: Meet fellow riders at CCCH parking lot, ready to ride by 12:30 pm per above ride details.

Option C: Ride on your own, meet at Westover Church for 2:00 pm blessing.

Helmets are required on all WAB rides.
 
Registration is required for all WAB rides.  Pre-registration online accomplishes the following: 1) the ride leader and other participants know who is coming; 2) you are eligible for club insurance in the event of an accident (non-members 1st ride only); 3) you accept the risks involved in riding; 4) you provide necessary legal protection for club leadership and ride leaders,  and 5) we have an easy means to communicate in event of a change or cancellation.   Please familiarize yourself with the waiver on the registration page.
