CANCELLED DUE TO COLD TEMPERATURES

The monthly Waverly ride returns for the 17th season! Meet in the parking lot behind La Hacienda in Waverly for a ride on some flat, lightly traveled roads. The ride is a figure-8 with a rest stop after 25 miles back in Waverly. Those wanting more miles will then head north for an additional 15 mile loop giving them a total of 40 miles.  As always, this is a joint ride for WAB and the Richmond Area Bicycling Association (RABA). Sara Page of RABA will lead the B group, Jack will take charge of the C pace riders and RABA's Wes Surina will lead the D pace group. After the ride all participants are welcome to join for a group lunch in Waverly.

Helmets are required on all WAB rides.
 
Registration is required for all WAB rides.  Pre-registration online accomplishes the following: 1) the ride leader and other participants know who is coming; 2) you are eligible for club insurance in the event of an accident (non-members 1st ride only); 3) you accept the risks involved in riding; 4) you provide necessary legal protection for club leadership and ride leaders,  and 5) we have an easy means to communicate in event of a change or cancellation.   Please familiarize yourself with the waiver on the registration page.
