Description

There is a B+ 28-mile ride every Wednesday evening in Yorktown for any who care to join.  Starts at the Courthouse parking lot, 304 Ballard Street.  Ride includes York Point and Dandy Loop and finishes with the Ben & Jerry's hill climb.  Ride is a B-pace in April and then faster as the group gets stronger through the summer.

Pace for Rides:
A (20+ mph)
A- (18-20 mph)
B+ (16-18)
B (14-16)
C (12-14)

Casual Up to 10 mph, with no one left behind

Helmets are required on all WAB rides.
 
Registration is required for all WAB rides.  Pre-registration online accomplishes the following: 1) the ride leader and other participants know who is coming; 2) you are eligible for club insurance in the event of an accident (non-members 1st ride only); 3) you accept the risks involved in riding; 4) you provide necessary legal protection for club leadership and ride leaders,  and 5) we have an easy means to communicate in event of a change or cancellation.   Please familiarize yourself with the waiver on the registration page.
