DESCRIPTION:\NThe May General Membership Meeting will consist of a combination social hour, meal and bike swap meeting from 6 PM to 7 PM, followed by a featured speaker at 7 PM.  The club will supply PIZZA (please sign up) or you may bring your own food if you choose. \NThe speaker at 7 PM will be Jane Elkin, who will provide a brief presentation/overview of what she learned at the League of American Bicyclist (LAB) summit meeting earlier this year.\NAnyone is welcome to bring items to sell or swap. \NWhen you click on the blue "Book This Event" button you will be asked whether you want pizza or not and what types of items you plan to bring and approximate space needed.  You are asked to follow these guidelines:\N \NGUIDELINES FOR CYCLING GEAR SWAP/FLEA MARKET\NFor purposes of these guidelines, "vendors" will be anyone offering an item for sale or swap.\N\NHave a price identified on each item, or approximate value (for swapping)\NItems must be bicycling related; i.e. clothing, parts, maintenance related, nutrition, accessories, etc. and must be in very good to excellent condition (assessment as to ‘condition’ to be by the ‘Vendor’ and per honor system)\NBargaining, bartering, and/or swap of items is allowed\NAll transactions shall be item exchange or cash, Venmo & Paypal is optional if agreed by both parties\NTransactions are FINAL; if serious dispute after payment or swap, a written complaint shall be sent within 30 days of session to club’s Board who will make final decision at next scheduled meeting and will be the final determination/resolution\N‘Vendors’ will be allowed to survey other Vendors’ items during viewing at intervals and given time slots for such viewing\N‘Vendors’ will be assigned areas for displaying items\NNo ‘HOLDS’ on items for specific buyers until last 10 minutes of session\NMay have to limit number of ‘vendors’ participating if too many or do not have enough space for all; (first-come, first-serve)\N
